This web domain is for The Mid-Columbia River Gorge and the people who love it.

Because the communities in this area are spread out quite a bit GorgeLink was started in 2001 to maintain a Community Resources Directory of the web content of our area so residents and visitors could find businesses and organizations without sorting through lists of links from search engines.

The links from the old Community Resources Directory are now in the links area of this site. The old directory was aphabeticle in its organization while our links area is arranged by categories. The categories BUSINESSES and ORGANIZATIONS are the most general categories. As we fine tune our categories, some will be moved from the general to more specific ones, but, at the moment we are still moving in and there is a lot of unpacking and arranging to do.

Why can't I upload my picture to my gallery?

There is a limit of 300kb on file size, so make sure your image file is smaller than that.

Or

You are attempting to upload an image in the wrong file format.

Why isn't my article posted right after I submit it?

All articles by members go to the admin account for review before being posted on this site.

How do I add helps?

Through logging in and submitting a question to the admin of course!

Why won't mybrowser remember my password?

Some folks have had trouble logging in because they are actually remembering the captcha code because their browsers think it is a password

Stop letting it "remember' the captcha code.

About Us

GorgeLink.Org has been serving the mid-Columbia River Gorge since January, 2001.

OUR MISSION:
GorgeLink is primarily focused on creating and maintaining an on-line hyperlinked community resources directory, providing the residents of the mid Columbia gorge free on-line access to one another through its Web-APP portal and other information technologies.

GorgeLink offers local non-profit organizations who have no presence on the internet with a link from their name in its community resources directory to a web page hosted on its site in order to give mid-Columbia gorge residents on-line access to them.
